Phew, what a months!

  • September 30, 2008

These last two months, keeping our financial in balance has been the main focus. The main projects have been put aside for quite a while in some reasonable distance.

Dedicated to money, it leave us somehow fell quite dry, weary and bit spiritless.

Not to worry too much, though, as now we are ready to back on track, switch back most of the resources toward the main essential goal.

Phew, ready to move on again!

Olympics Spirit

Here we are, witnessing the joy of 2008 Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony on television.

It is not mainly about the competition to us, but the celebration of ‘blood, sweat and tears’ moments every single athlete must has been passed through. We are, in truth, really moved by the shared sensation of  passion,  life time dedication and toil they put on this event.  No matter the medals they managed (or not) to achieved,  tonight is the party they really deserved to have.

We don’t see life is ever meant as competition arena. It is more about offering the best of us, to others. Every single effort we put to achieve and develop ourselves is much more appreciated, no matter how it may be compared relatively.

To the athletes and any participants who prepared themselves for this event, sincere thanks for the share of the spirit!

Finally, another one is done.

No, we’re not  talking about  serious project. It’s is just another Playstation 3 (PS3) game of our small collections;  Condemned 2 : Bloodshot.

Playstation is an entertaining pastime for us, and it is not merely a game. It is, in some way, another creative stimulation activities for us. It works along with other creative process, sparks and inspires some fresh ideas, force and drive the project forwards along with other activities, let alone if that only means as a refreshing tools of the worn out mind after the long tiring works.

Definitely, we don’t play all the existing game in the market. Indeed, we can’t call us as PlayStation(PS) fan, like some PS console owners. Our collection are only small friction of PS game ever produced. We would say, that  engaging cinematic story games are main ones we after, and we tend to skip the rest. And the pattern of buying is quite  far from frequent. Only when we’ve done a game completely, then it will be the time to browse other one to buy and play.

Still, it is naturally absorbing and addictive. Some good ones are really engaging, temp us to stay with the game without any distraction until it reaches the story ending.

However, spending our time playing game too much is really against our principal rule of being productive. It is a kind of temptation need to be controlled to reach its maximum potential, otherwise leads to unproductive (time wasting) behavior.

Then, the basic rule is applied; it can be spontaneous regular thing, along with other productive time allocations, as long as only take a friction time of them.

Thus, the process of completing the story game is like a journey toward a goal. We move forwards bit by bit, step by step consistently in balance with other things. It is like our faith of working on our projects, consistently in passion with a  belief that we’ll be there one day.

It is enjoyable process, certainly when you finally reach the goal no matter how long it may take,  just like today; when the story mission of the game is successfully accomplished.

One is done, it’s time to back working on our life time projects now…( wondering when it reaches ‘the end’…)

To the ‘Angel’s

  • August 3, 2008

What lay on the road ahead are never known in certain. It is just how this universe works.

When things turn into shadowy darkness, crawling may be the choice to keep moving forward, while dreaming the angels coming, do the miracle to turn it back into the bright beautiful light.

We’ve never seen ones, The Angels, but we know some who play this cast nicely. They are around, do some magical moment to brighten our days.

Unfortunately, this is not eternal world; things may be here today, and easily gone tomorrow. So do our ‘Angel’s, never to be possessed.

To Anggit, thanks for all the angelic magic you’ve done to us. Hope you enjoy Paris! (..and we believe, you’ll keep sharing the wonders to others)

We’re just not business people, perhaps. (definitely not also celebrity wannabe)

We do love collaboration, as we believe that’s how essentially works should be done to reach its maximum potential.

When a friend proposed a kind of help and collaboration along with our project, we are definitely open for the opportunity, but for some inconvenient things.

We never feel comfortable to collaborate when the money become the first and dominant motivation, or such as a starting point of the project. Not also when we feel the blind long of fame strongly drive it.

We are not saints.

We are fully aware how money, and name play parts in this ‘industry’, and in this world. We may just not want them to be, at least, in the top 5, perhaps even not in the top 10 of the drive list.

When we feel the pure passion from the heart, that is the moment we simply love to collaborate, even to talk about the money matters.
