There Is (No) Such Place Called Home.

  • May 28, 2009

We are traveling in time and space, away from the point where the journey started.

There is always a call from homeland, such emotional connection that be the reason and motivation of the actions.

Nevertheless, here and now we are standing,  literally being part of global community. It may be not important too much to look back our home as the inspiration for being. The awareness of origin may distract the bigger view of us as part of universal residents of the world. Worse, an isolation that divide worldwide populace.

The other additional fact, we can’t reach YET the home from afar here. So that, it should be wise to low down the call, and let soil we are standing be the reason, the land we’d like to build, families and friends we’d love to be support.

Anywhere we are in the frame of moment; this is our place, this is our home (which we  offer ourselves with wholehearted devotion to)

Should We Really Care?

  • January 1, 2009

Unfortunately, we are trapped in time.

When the time is NOW, should we really care about the romantics of the past and the dream of the future?

Here and now we are standing.

Happy new year!

Holiday Season

  • December 27, 2008

Working is a must to survive, the rest of the time is a chance to build our dream, and holiday is a tiny bit of friction to slip in between, just to enjoy the days without bothering the fact of life problems exist.

Enjoying this journey, it is important to see every moment in life as a holiday itinerary. But, be honest, It is just such comforting lie, when we bravely managed to say that.  The last one is such a luxury for us, with price to pay.

Still,  this December, we’re quite fortunate to manage sneaking another one in, share this holiday moment with some friends. Really, by any possible force, many don’t have chance like these.

Happy holiday!

Living Words of Holy Book

  • November 5, 2008

It was just months ago when she shared her joy moment which suddenly turn into disturbing nightmare. The accident of ‘roller-blading’ has paralyzed her right wrist and hand; body part that play very important part in her productive activities in reaching the growing idea of life for her and the others.

Journey seems still be a long one. Despite her every effort to be strong, It was clear that there were worries if she might have to lose her right hand mobility forever. Yet, she walks through them all faithfully.

Then just recently, she shared much bigger ‘accident’; unexpected pregnancy.

Briefly about the situation, she was quite far from many terms of readiness (whatever it may means to anyone) to face one of the biggest experience of life.

Obviously, This is not the first time we heard this kind of story. There are friends of us, friend of friends, relative or the others who experienced quite similar story in various circumstances. However, for us, she stands out distinctively.

No cover up, no denial, no sobbing cry, no regret. In earnest, she admitted how somehow she played a part on this cause. Furthermore, she wholeheartedly decided not to quit, but let Him to use her womb and receive the responsible to look after a new breathing life He created. It is just another call for her.

Considering many things, we don’t see it is going to be an easy things to do for her. However, she has shown us that ready or not never be the question. It is just another route the God want her to walk through, and she strongly face it in faith, no matter sweet or bitter the symphonies ahead.

This time, we see the living words of so called as Holy Book. Even perhaps, the words havemuch less meaning than the real faith we see right in front of us.

Eileen, we are very proud of you, very glad to experience it through you and and thank to share it with us!

(too wild) Playground : Revisited

  • October 20, 2008

The day we got our creative playground back, we embraced it straight away. The gate have been re-open.

It is still the place where we find our garden, playing field we cultivate the various seeds. It is still the fun park of ideas.

However, two month of neglect created some kind of distance. We miss the intimacy. Many new unexpected beautiful variants appears, tickling the curiosity, while we lost the track of the growing ones we should look after. All has been scattered, flourish in a frenzy.

It is indeed enjoyable exciting atmosphere. No reason for us to turn down this resourceful land, but It’s been too wild to control.

At this moment, we just want it back quite in control, and… we are still struggling.
