Hues on the Blue

Hues on the Blue, by kalanglarik

as to fly and not to die
seamen to labour and not to harbour
to weather sharp breeze and chilly air
as water sparkles in the sun

as blue of the ocean and the sky
lines of jukungs sail and race
to write colours on the horizon
…and so bright a day come to be.

A Waving Flag

A Waving Flag, by kalanglarik

A waving flag calls for duty,
for one to share being with others.
A waving flag bid farewell,
for one to be free.

Out to the world one travels,
to the universe one belongs.
Homes are shelter of many places,
wherever body and soul respite,
for another day is another journey.

And so many other flags one will find,
on the land of heart,
they stay, and they wave as one.

(To)Night Not Alone

Night Not Alone, by Kalanglarik

dark, and music is lighting it up
cold, and crowd is warming it up
silence is fading
vacuum is vanishing
night is not alone.

Jazzy (and) Jamming

Jazzy Jamming, by Kalanglarik
Listen, and speak up.
Play it out.

On the stage, the dialogue is.
Notes are the words,
scales are the chosen dictions,
sing along as the chords progress within the rhythm.

Listen, speak, and jamming along.
Music is the language here.
